At Third & Wall we have the two primary ACRYLIC options: FaceMounts and Direct Print.
Maximum acrylic sheet size 48×96”. Larger sizes and different colors can sometimes be special-ordered; ask your Account Manager or Customer Service for more information.
FACEMOUNT ACRYLIC is created with our images printed on semi-matte paper with stable pigment-based inks, and the print is applied to the back of a clear acrylic sheet.
• Acrylic thickness default is 1/4”. 1/8” and 1/2” acrylic thicknesses are available upon request.
• Standard orders come with smooth finished edges. Flame-polished edges are available for an additional fee.
• 0.33mm ACM is generally the default backing for acrylics. Other backings such as styrene can be applied upon request.
DIRECT PRINT ACRYLIC is created with our images printed directly onto the back or front of the acrylic.
• Thickness default is 1/4”. 1/8” and 1/2” acrylic thicknesses are available.
• Standard orders come with finished edges. Flame-polished edges are available for an additional fee.
• 3mm ACM is generally the default backing for acrylics. Other backings such as styrene can be applied upon request.
ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) is formed by sandwiching two thin metal sheets around a sheet of black Sintra to create an elegant, rigid substrate. The images are printed directly onto the surface, which allows you to choose between a solid image or allowing some metal to show through.
• Standard orders come with a brushed aluminum surface, but other finishes and colors are available.
• 1/8” rounded corners are the default, but straight corners are available upon request.
• The standard maximum sheet size is 48 x 96” but larger sizes may be available; check with your 3&W Account Manager or Customer Service for more information.
CHROMALUXE metal prints are lightweight, durable, made with recycled material, and 100% recyclable. Images are infused directly into specially coated aluminum, offering unsurpassed color vibrancy, exceptional detail, color resolution, and print permanence. The outdoor coating protects against UV rays, allowing users to take prints outdoors or in direct sunlight. Offers vibrant image reproduction, weathers well, is chemical-, scratch-, fade-, and graffiti-resistant, and will not crack or delaminate.

• 1” deep metal backframe w/ Z-clip cleat. ¾” thickness is available upon request.

Stand-offs
• 5/8” cap diameter with 1” barrel, brushed metal finish. Includes corner drill holes.
• Creates an urban, industrial effect.
• Security stand-offs are available, in addition to different colors and finishes.
Cleats (not recommended for larger pieces)
• Cleats allow art to float from the wall with no obvious sign of hanging hardware.
• Cleat materials, styles, and thicknesses vary upon request. Typical cleat materials include metal Z-clips, sintra, or wood.
• T-screws available for additional security.
