Yes.  Posters are available to retail customers.

Do you only print on paper?

We print on a variety of substrates including Semi-Matte paper, Enhanced Matte paper, Somerset Velvet uncoated fine art paper, canvas, wood, acrylic and DiBond.

Can I resize the image?  Can I make the image bigger or smaller?

Yes.  All of our Print-On-Demand imagery is available to print to your specifications. However, not all digital images are equal; some images are smaller than others, and may not enlarge as well as the larger pieces. Before committing an image to an enlargement, always check first with your Account Manager to make sure the enlargement will work.

Can I get an image cropped to a specific size?

Yes.  We can crop the image to match the size you need.

Can I turn a single image into a diptych or triptych?

Yes.  We can turn a single image into a diptych, triptych or as many images as your project calls for.

Can I change the color in an image?

Can I add brushstrokes or foil to my Print-On-Demand pieces?

What is the difference between fine art paper, semi-matte paper, and enhanced matte paper?

Somerset Velvet Fine Art Paper is uncoated, toothy and heavy for a luxurious fine art look (similar to high-quality watercolor paper), and the matte finish shows detail beautifully.  Semi-matte paper (similar to poster paper) is coated and reflects colors and details vividly without being too glossy, while Enhanced Matte paper is a lighter uncoated paper suitable for meeting tight project budgets while still providing a quality image.

What does semi-matte look like?

Epson Semi-Matte paper is 260 Gram resin-coated paper with a semi-matte finish.  This surface has a similar brilliance and vibrancy to our offset litho posters.  The paper accepts inks beautifully for a rich color saturation and extreme image detail.

What the difference between the poster and semi-matte paper?

Both papers have a similar sheen and thickness. The main difference is that poster paper can be canvas-transferred while the semi-matte paper does not allow for this due to the resin coating.

Will the color be the same as I see on my computer screen?

All computer monitors display colors differently. If you order your Print-On-Demand product directly from our website or a JPEG, you may expect the possibility of some color variation between your monitor display and the printed POD product. Please let your Account Manager know if you selected the image using your computer monitor, and let us know if you have any particular “must-have” color notes about the image. If 100% accurate color is crucial in your project, please provide color references or swatches, and/or work with your Account Manager to receive a printed proof prior to printing the final piece. Additional fees may apply for color proofing.

What is my discount?

Please call 877-326-3925 or contact your sales rep for information regarding your discount.

Why no discount for POD?

We price our Print-on-Demand items for all wholesale customers based on the current market.  If you are looking to place a quantity order, your sales rep may be able to offer you more competitive pricing.

When will I receive my order?

If a poster order is placed before noon PST Monday – Friday, your order will ship the same day.  We require a 2 week lead time for Print-On-Demand orders, but are often able to ship sooner.  Original paintings located in the Seattle Gallery will ship between 1 – 2 business days.  We ship via FedEx and transit times for ground shipping vary between 1 and 5 days within the continental United States.  Please contact customer service at 1-877-326-3925.

Do you offer AI-generated images?

No. As part of our commitment to supporting artists, Third & Wall Art Group does not offer AI-generated imagery. Real Artists making real art. Always.

AI-generated imagery is created when a person enters word prompts into special software. Based on those prompts, the computer software then stitches together imagery using copyrighted art and photography that has been unethically “scraped” from the internet without the permission or knowledge of the original artists. Currently there are many infringement lawsuits pending between artists in all of the creative fields (visual artists, writers, musicians, etc) and the generative AI companies.

How can I tell if an image is AI-generated?

The most obvious giveaway – hands and feet (or paws) – too many digits or not enough digits, extra limbs or missing limbs, oddly shaped limbs, hands, or feet.

Surreal Faces: Asymmetrical  facial features, blurred eyes, or strange proportions. Subtly surreal, or just not quite right.

Odd Patterns: AI sometimes struggles with complex textures or patterns, leading to noticeable repetition or awkward transitions. Look for unnatural patterns in textures like hair, skin, clothing, or background elements.

Wonky Lighting: Inconsistent or unrealistic lighting and shadows. Check if the lighting on different objects in the image matches and if the shadows are consistent with the light sources.

Not-Quite-Right Backgrounds: Backgrounds in AI images can be a giveaway. Many are overly simplistic, overly complex, or contain elements that don’t belong. Pay as much attention to the background as the main subject.

Garbled Text –  If there’s text on the image, it can sometimes be jumbled, misspelled, or nonsensical in AI-generated images.

Digital Artifacts: Look for signs of digital manipulation, like pixelation, strange colour patterns, overly-crisp edges throughout, or blur in areas where it doesn’t logically belong.

Strange Signatures: Ghostly artist “signatures”, artist signatures in strange parts of the image, or signatures broken up in areas of the image.

Too Good To be True: A human couldn’t have done that: If the image has incredibly intricate detailing that looks like it was probably impossible for human artists to generate, impossible brushstrokes, unnaturally smooth edges, or just looks “too good to be true”, it may very well be AI-generated.
